An Exercise Physiologist is a university-qualified allied health professional who specializes in using exercise to prevent, manage, and treat chronic conditions, injuries, and disabilities. We provide evidence-based programs tailored to each individual client’s needs.
We assess relevant health history, current strength and endurance levels, goals for treatment, and body composition then develop a personalised exercise program. We also collect baseline measurements around functional capacity, mobility and flexibility.
No referral is needed for private consultations. However, if you’re eligible for Medicare, DVA, NDIS, or WorkCover funding, a GP referral may be required.
Initial assessments with an Exercise Physiologist typically last 45–60 minutes, while follow-up sessions usually last for around 45 minutes.
